CROCHET: How to Crochet A Solid Granny Square For Beginners Tutorial

Hi Lovely Crochet people....

I've been super busy this week uploading more crochet tutorials and publishing new patterns ...... but in this heat we have been having it seems to have taken me twice as long to get things done .....

..... my latest YouTube Tutorial on how to crochet the granny square for beginners is a lovely video with step by step instructions in a slow easy pace....... so if you would love to make your own why not pop over to my channel with some yarn and a hook and join me and please subscribe to my channel and let me know what tutorials you would like me to make for you!!!!

I am planning my next videos for this week on how to do the Magic Circle

and also how to change colours in your crochet projects .......

I love using Stylecraft Yarns

or if you are still fairly new to crochet and don't want to be overwhelmed with changing yarn colours at this stage then try this amazing Stylecraft Merry Go Round Yarn with 10 colour ways to choose from....

Purple Fizz

the colours change as you crochet so this could be an option for you whilst you are learning .... instead of changing yarns ...... they are in 100gm balls and super economical.

So if there is anything that you are struggling with crochet related then please pop your ideas in the comments below and I will add them to my list!

I have also completed my second draft on my Boho Fringed Vest Top pattern but this time I used a main colour and a contrast edging......

Solid Colour

I wanted to show you how different this cute little top is when you simply change the way you work with the yarn.........

Stripe Colour

They look so different ..... and the possibilities are endless by simply changing the way you add the yarns!

I have also designed this pattern with two sizes ..... age 2-3 and 3-4...... but I will be working on adult sizes too.

The pattern is now available here if you want to download and make it for yourself..... there are full photo instructions to help you!

So hope I've given you lots of inspiration ..... I'm off to tackle my next pattern project!

Until the next time .... take care .... and happy crochet!
